They're baaaaack

So I got an email the other day from a producer for ABC, Cynthia McFadden is in town and wants to do a follow up with Max. Looks like this is actually going to air someday. Interview went well, and I think they are starting to "get it" that we want to make this a happy "it gets better" sort of message. All it takes is support and validation. They were all shocked at the differences in Max, not just physically, although they could definitely get that. But emotionally as well. Cynthia commented several times at how happy he seems. We agree, I can't believe it either.

Conference

Max and I were invited to attend and speak at a conference in Tucson.  It was geared for Behavioral Health professionals.  We really enjoyed the workshop we attended, as it was informative and showed that there ARE Behavioral Health people that "get it".  We did our workshop with Julian and Kyle of Stonewall.  I think it went really well, questions were plenty and I KNOW, Max and I both got plenty of feedback.  Max then joined a panel where he held his own with the adults on the panel.  He is so well spoken, intelligent and will make a difference in the world, are some of the comments I heard.  Watching my son, become this man, is an amazing experience!
